End of the Month Progress Report: June, 2019
What was done in June?
June was a massive month for the uPlexa project, but let us summarize in case you have missed some it:
- Finalization and release of Steadfast Storm Information & Planning
- First uPlexa Adoption Bounty: UPX Currently accepted by 7 online merchants
- Release of Android Miner v3.0
- Release of IoTProxy v2.0 w/ remote reporting dashboard
- Initiate developments on iOS Miner, and iOS Wallet
- IoT Mining Contest: Great turnout, thank you for participating!
- Initiate development of ElectraLight wallet
- Coordinate with lawyers in US and Malta for our securities memorandum
- Reach out to companies for our upcoming 3rd party security audit
- Addition of new member to our Moderation team: Foxi3_-
- Launch of the official uPlexa Support Knowledgebase
- Setup proper team & project management portal
- Start of UPX/BTC STEX Trading Competition (5,825,000 UPX in Rewards)
- Released tutorial on how to mine on Android TV Box & Nintendo Switch (All credits go to prankst3r)
What’s coming in July?
- X86 * x86_64 Support for Android miner (v3.1): Mine on your ChromeBook!
- Initiate development of uPlexa Onion Protocol for the anonymity network
- Fix Android wallet crash bug for older ARMv7 Devices
- Optimize & Improve hashrates for ARMv7 & ARMv8 Devices
- Release of ElectraLight lightweight & simplistic uPlexa GUI wallet
- Release of iOS Wallet
- Challenge: UPX Puzzle. Solve it for a 1,000,000 UPX Reward
- End of STEX trading competition
Note: more will likely appear on this list as we move forward to the next progress update.
With all that has been done in July, it would take several pages to discuss everything within this one article. Thus, to review the above work, you may click the articles to read about our releases and progress. For those curious about the iOS miner, we plan on having this finished for early-mid August.
We would like to personally reach out to our community and give a massive “THANK YOU” for all of your support and contributions to the uPlexa project. Due to your support, we were the first to release a functional and efficient IoT mining blockchain alongside IoT mining software. Now that we have proved that the premise of our project is more than feasible (IoT), we will work strongly to implement new core features to our blockchain to help provide a truly anonymous & secure online experience. Our plan is to have Steadfast Storm ready for October to place on testnet. During October, we will also have a full 3rd party security audit before we move Steadfast Storm into production.
