One of the largest criticisms of digital currencies such as Bitcoin, uPlexa, or Ethereum is that they’re not easily accepted by local stores or merchants. None of them are readily usable for day-to-day purchases as a currency, or are they?

Cryptocurrency experts and developers argue that we do not see these digital currencies being used in supermarkets, local trades via marketplaces, or at their local brick and mortar shops, because the technology is still in its early stages. However, it’s easy to see which projects are making progress pertaining to day to day use cases regarding the blockchain. This bear market has been a real gift to crypocurrencies, allowing us to identify which projects & developers are truly in this cryptoshere for the technology.

Many issues have been tackled this year, such as “How can I obtain cryptocurrencies easily?” — Exchanges making it easier for the average non-tech savvy individual to obtain their first virtual asset. Other issues revolve around ease-of-use, in-which wallets were modified for simplicity, web wallets were created so users need not download a wallet, and mobile wallets were developed for the average user to be able to trade and manage their recently acquired digital assets.

uPlexa is about to release its uPlexa Android Wallet, allowing users to send or receive uPlexa anonymously, easily, and quickly via options such as sending straight to a wallet address, or even using QR codes for further simplicity. Scan the QR code, and send or receive uPlexa freely.

Mobile wallets will allow everybody and anybody to get into the digital currency realm, allowing for easy trades, and lessening the high-fees for travelers and cross-border banking. Mobile wallets further help add an additional layer of privacy to those who want or need it, with options such as “Street Mode”, hiding all balances from any nosy individuals around you.

uPlexa has also been working on an Android mining app, allowing for users to mine uPlexa from any Android device in existence, as long as the architecture is at least as modern as an armv7 (2007+). This brings mining to a whole new level, allowing for casual miners to instantly download an app, input their wallet address, and start mining some uPlexa. This goes to show how easy cryptocurrency adoption may really be. Headed to buy a laptop, or an espresso machine from the Facebook marketplace? Why not ask if the seller would accept uPlexa.

Teams like uPlexa are also working on increasing transaction times, allowing for sidechains, and utmost scalability whilst maintaining a focus on both privacy and security.

The uPlexa android wallet is scheduled for release on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 and will be available on the Google Playstore, or from https://uplexa.com
